MA in Education
Alvin Toffler said, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
Education and its’ importance, has grown exponentially over the past few decades. The amount of data to learn has grown. Our K-12 schools have record enrollments and teachers have been trained in teacher colleges in all of the latest methods and pedagogies. Our college and universities are fuller than at any time in the history of the world, and corporate, military and vocational education is likewise breaking records as to numbers of people who are involved in training programs.
Education in the 21st century is less an option and increasingly a necessity. The 21st century requires continual life long learning in order to not only keep up, but to thrive and get ahead.
The M.A. in Education program is designed for those with an educational background already, who wish to further develop and to ultimately demonstrate those understandings and abilities by the earning the Master of Arts in Education degree.
OPTION: The DESIGN YOUR OWN DEGREE option is available for this graduate degree. Contact the Registrar for more info and an appointment with the Provost to discuss further.
